Ayilyam Puja is offered to the serpent god and goddess Nagaraja and Nagayakshi. Performed on Ayilyam Nakshatra of every month, this puja is known to bestow blessings of prosperity and harmony for the seekers. CIF celebrated this puja at the Chinmaya Swayambhu Ayyappa Temple on the 21st of March 2024, following sacred rituals and traditions. The devotional song, Pulluvan Paatu, dedicated to serpent deities was performed to offer heartfelt gratitude to the benevolence of the Almighty. The ritual of Sarpabali was also performed to counter the ill-effects of sarpa dosham. Participating in this puja is believed to pave the way towards tranquility and eternal bliss.
